Workshops
Through our workshops, we dive deep into feedback literacies using arts-based methods that celebrate diverse ways of knowing—not just those rooted in intellect but also those felt and experienced within our unique contexts. Our workshops include four progressive levels tailored to meet your needs.
Level 1: Redefining Feedback
Moving from effectiveness to affectiveness to prioritise relationality in feedback encounters.
Level 2: Understanding Feedback Cultures & Climates
Discover how and why feedback lands (or doesn’t), designing feedback for uptake (within predominantly formative assessment systems like Programmatic Assessment), and consider the role of recipiency processes to explore the invisibility of engagement.
Level 3: Co-Creating Feedback Literacies
Engage both teachers and students in building true feedback dialogues by uncovering structural and relational barriers, consider socio-material conditions around feedback, and crafting moments of encounters that centre freedom and emancipation.
Level 4: Relational Feedback
Explore the subtle, embodied practices of relational feedback that empower professional judgment and creativity. Refine the way you convey warmth and relationality while adopting a transgressive stance with feedback: gently interrupting students to face difficult questions.
